The Make America Healthy Again Coalition Launches National Accountability Campaign Ahead of 2026 Midterm Elections
April 28, 2025 — Today, the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Coalition officially announced the launch of a national, community-driven campaign to accelerate common-sense health policies that support optimal health outcomes for American families.
Over the next 554 days leading up to the November 3, 2026, Congressional Midterm Elections, the Coalition and its network of constituent business owners, nonprofit organizations, public health advocates, and local leaders will work directly with Members of Congress to ensure that the voices of everyday Americans are heard loud and clear in Washington.
This effort will focus on a prioritized group of 50 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 10 U.S. Senators and Open Seats most at risk for reelection. Through the work of the Coalition’s 10 Policy Committees — covering vital issues such as Chronic Disease, Nutrition and Wellness, the Opioid-Fentanyl Crisis, Allergy Awareness, and Children’s and Teen Health — the campaign will advocate for bold, effective solutions to improve public health outcomes nationwide.
Any elected official who refuses to support these essential health priorities will face public accountability at the ballot box in 2026 and 2028.
“Public health is not a partisan issue,” said Robert Houton of MAHA Coalition. “This is about ensuring families in every community have access to policies and programs that support their health and well-being. No other organization is leading this level of coordinated advocacy to hold Congress accountable for common-sense health policy.”
The MAHA Coalition’s mission is clear: to drive the strategic implementation of health policies that protect and uplift America’s families by advancing initiatives outlined in President Trump’s Make America Healthy Again Executive Order. This effort will serve as a campaign to improve public health outcomes across the nation.
